Citigroup Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Enhance the firm’s funds transfer pricing system (CitiFTP) and transition the current funds transfer pricing execution into the new system, CitiFTP. Work with local treasury, finance, ALM (Assets and Liability Management) and technology teams to develop detailed plans to transition FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) processes in the various countries and businesses to the new system, process, and reporting. Implement banking products (e.g., deposits, loans, fixed income securities, derivatives) into CitiFTP in collaboration with technology, FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis), Liquidity, and Treasury. Partner with user groups and technology in the development of the system testing strategy to ensure error-free feature delivery. Partner with Controllers, Finance, Business, and Country SMEs to review issues raised during rollout discussions, propose, and execute resolutions in pursuit of go-live sign-off. Document issue resolutions for audit closure. Use advanced knowledge of CitiFTP platform to assist live businesses in resolution of production issues to minimize P&L and ledger posting disruption. Work with CitiFTP Operations team to establish appropriate process controls after country implementation into CitiFTP. Produce high quality training and project status materials. Ensure upstream and downstream systems data (from product processors, general ledgers, and global data bases) flows correctly to CitiFTP and out of CitiFTP. Work with project teams to collect audit artifacts after every country roll out. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and
protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the Financial Services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Implementing global financial systems by liaising with technology and finance teams to draft business requirements, write and execute test scripts, participate in system testing sprints and to ensure financial outputs are correctly calculated by the system; Conducting Treasury balance sheet and pnl variance investigations for money market products using general ledgers, product processors, global data bases and reporting tools; Transforming and enhancing financial trade capturing systems by configuring data rules, mapping tables and ensure correct accounting posting; Calculating amortizations and accruals of banking products by hand to ensure error free system generated entries; and Handling large sizes of data using SQL and handling reporting or reconciliation of transfer priced banking products including deposits, loans, fixed incomes securities, derivatives, and debt. 40 hrs./wk.
