Citigroup Bilingual English/Spanish: Sec&Derivatives AssocAnalyst2-Hybrid in Tampa, Florida

Monitor client's equity and fixed income activity and ensure timely execution of securities settlements for International Custody, Vostro services and the product of Account Operator for the LATAM Markets. Liaise with multiple operational, Product, sales and network teams to facilitate resolution of client issues. Manage client relationships and ensure timely resolution of investigations and queries. Client education – Serve as market expert and coach clients in adhering to the LATAM Markets and capital market regulations. Foreign Exchange Processing — Identify, authorize FX deals, send confirmations to clients and follow up on receipt of funds. Account Maintenance — Process account openings and closings for markets supported Respond to both Internal and External client queries in a timely manner Messaging — Set up electronic statements delivery for client base Monitor Front End system and maintain control log Effectively interact with other operating units and managers Identify and implement service enhancements and process improvements Respond to both Internal and External client queries in a timely manner Resolving all assets, cash breaks and overdrafts on a timely basis

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Ensure the timely execution of securities settlements for International Custody, Vostro services and Account Operator services for the LATAM markets.

· Ensure the timely Pre-match, Foreign Exchange, Client Services, Trade Processing, Investigations and settlements functions for the LATAM markets.

· Process reengineering, identify, and implement process improvements and technology developments for LATAM markets. Activities include review existing processes, Securities transactions Pre-matching , Depository Settlements, Account Operator Cash/securities, Asset Reconciliation, Account Openings and timely resolution to Customer queries and investigations. Write BRD’s , coordinate and execute systems UAT testing.

· Support all LATAM markets with continual process re-engineering efforts, efficiency management, quality improvement and cost optimization

· Prepare departmental MIS for Senor Management review

· Interact with local branches Operations, Product and Technology Support teams to address client, operational and technological issues.

· Ensure compliance with internal audit programs

· Assume responsibility for special projects, as required

· Produce MIS to measure units effectiveness on service standards and client deliverables

· Excellent client service skills

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience working in Operations or Middle Office

  • 100% Bi-lingual (Spanish / English )

  • Good understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies

  • Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment

  • Good analytical skills and positive attitude

  • Proficient PC skills (MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Access a plus)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$49,010.00 - $68,390.00
