Th e role you’ll contribute:

Performs quality Electrocardiograms, 24-48-hour monitor hook ups, assist with treadmill treadmill exercise tolerance test, pharmacological stress test and stress echocardiograms. Work requires precision in recording and preparing data. Must be able to tolerate highly charges emotional situations. Able to identify abnormal cardiac rhythms. Assists as needed with various office responsibilities to include, physician’s billing, verifying patient MRI #s prior to editing and responding to phone inquiries/fax requests from departments and physician offices.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Performs, properly documents and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.

· Electrocardiogram

· Communicates abnormal findings to nurse and or physician.

· Maintains supplies for cardiac testing

· Monitor ECG worklist, ensure cardiologist assignment for ECG interpretation, notify physicians on panel reading schedule

· Equipment cleaning after use and end of shift

Qualifications

T he expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· High school diploma or equivalence required

· BLS

· ECG experience preferred

· Electrocardiography certification preferred
