Citigroup Crisis Management Sr Program Officer in Tampa, Florida

The CSIS Sr Program Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will manage projects and programs related to intelligence, governance, budgets and financing, technology, training, communications, reporting, risk and control management

  • This job will drive results and accountability across all levels of the global team, while encouraging high standards and emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement

  • This role will provide assistance to a Program Manager and be responsible for tasks related to the execution of internal global program processes, management and the implementation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting across the functions

  • Execute the day-to-day operations of the global program and will oversee the design and implementation of systems and processes to ensure the global program processes are executed

  • Deliver results on projects involving multiple teams and resources across the firm

  • Work in conjunction with stakeholders and manager to define business/project requirements

  • Problem-solve and explore/implement solutions to current processes and systems

  • Establish and maintain high-level relationships with functional, regional and core functions (Security, Cyber and Investigations) partners around the globe

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience

  • Deep subject matter expertise or technical experience in the program supported

  • Experience in operations areas: Organizational management, project management, operations, technology, and finance

  • Experience in working with virtual global teams within a matrix organization

  • Have lead and influenced people across an organization using sound judgment, successful execution of strategies; and with an understanding of how to operate effectively across diverse businesses/resources

  • Experience managing projects through the complete project lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closing.

  • Relevant certifications related to areas supported

  • Application knowledge of business improvement/Lean Six Sigma methodology, Lean Green belt or Black belt or experience with facilitation of Kaizen events

  • Previous work experience in a financial services or consulting organization

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

Responsibilities:

  • Supports head of governance in planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running the crisis management program.

  • Work collaboratively with the CSIS Operations team to align the crisis management program with CSIS overall strategy.

  • Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and requires basic commercial awareness.

  • Oversees crisis management program plans meet business needs as described in the program process documents.

  • Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones.

  • Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.

  • Monitors program activities compliance.

  • Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate.

  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.

  • Responsible for business process improvement, by optimizing existing business processes, which will result in a more efficiently run organization that provides top-quality services and customer satisfaction.

  • Supports reengineering efforts in business's methodology, strategy, and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in program management.

  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.

Hard skills:

  • Microsoft 365 (Intermediate)

  • Typing skills (30 wpm)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$93,440.00 - $140,160.00
