ICP Group Cyber Security Engineer in Tampa, Florida

ICP Group is looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL .  As a Security Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization against cyber threats. You’ll design, implement, and maintain security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Develop, execute, and track security measures to protect information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.

  • Design a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture and implement effective security protocols.

  • Identify, define, and document system security requirements, recommending solutions to management.

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.

  • Install and maintain monitoring software to detect security breaches and intrusions.

  • Monitor systems for irregular behavior and implement preventive measures.

  • Plan, develop, and update the company’s information security strategy.

  • Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.

  • Familiarity with the following technologies:

  • Email Filtering/Email Security Gateway

  • Microsoft 0ffice 365

  • CrowdStrike

  • Tenable Nessus

  • Cisco Umbrella

  • Kaseya VSA

  • Composing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures.

  • Completing cybersecurity assessments and audits.

  • Stay current on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

  • Ability to monitor a multisite network and triage, identify, and recover from cybersecurity attacks.

  • Familiarity with Azure administration and monitoring.

  • Providing company-wide training on cybersecurity topics.

  • PowerShell scripting abilities are a plus.
