Citigroup ERM CAO Business Unit Manager RD&T - C14 - TAMPA in Tampa, Florida

This senior position (C14) will support the Risk Data & Technology (RD&T) Transformation team which was formed to build risk, data, and technology solutions to deliver on our regulatory commitments, transforming data, processes, and technology to achieve a generational shift in Risk Management practices.

This position reports within the ERM CAO team, is a critical leadership position and will be responsible for partnering with the RD&T leadership team to drive cross-functional organizational productivity to ensure alignment with ERM’s internal and external commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business unit administration for the RD&T organization.

  • Perform day-to-day resource management activities for 500 person team

  • Develop strategic resource plans (i.e. staffing models for the organization and the sub-teams)

  • Build business cases and investment requests for headcount, contractors and consultants.

  • Advocate for RD&T and coordinate alignment and support for RD&T’s activities and deliverables.

  • Manage and coordinate third-party commitments, including contractors, consultants and temporary resources, across the RD&T team.

  • Support the Human Capital Manager Control Assessment (MCA) monitoring activities.

  • Formulate and implement a location strategy for RD&T

  • Ensure efficient operations, including process improvements and compliance with all policies and procedures.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Formulate and shepherd cross-sub-team initiatives and programs supporting data and regulatory requirements from concept to completion.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in CAO/COO function within Financial Services, Strategy and/or Management Consulting roles

  • Proven analytical, quantitative, and strategic planning skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals, and drive results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.  Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks.

  • Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret it

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational / time management skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented. Able to create support across a wide range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities

  • Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills and extensive experience preparing synthesized materials for senior level management

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
