Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an MS Access/SQL Server Programmer Analyst in the manufacturing industry, located in Tampa, Florida. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in maintaining, administering, and programming a MS Access front end, SQL Server back end while also handling most IT duties in a team with no other IT department. Our client ideally will want someone fully onsite, but will be open to a hybrid in-office/remote type work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain MS Access front end and SQL Server back end

• Provide technical support to a team of 32 employees

• Create and manage reports using Microsoft SQL Server and MS Access

• Handle most IT duties, serving as the primary IT resource

• Work closely with a third-party support person handling network administration

• Ensure data sources remain accurate and up-to-date

• Perform a variety of database administration tasks

• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT function

• Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server

• Demonstrated experience with Data Sources

• Proficient in MS Access

• Skilled in creating reports

• Ability to provide technical support

• Experience in database administration

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred

• Relevant professional certifications are a plus
