Robert Half Network Administrator in Tampa, Florida

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in the Marketing/PR industry, located in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring the timely delivery of services. This role requires a strong understanding of network support and firewall technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with network personnel and carrier provisioning groups to manage product and service delivery

• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate remediation alternatives to handle security vulnerabilities and issues

• Use ticket tracking systems for documenting services and managing their timely delivery

• Assist in resolving any network related issues as assigned by management

• Consult with peers and managers to achieve goals and resolve complex network problems

• Regularly maintain customer information for continuity and efficiency

• Work closely with field technicians to implement and troubleshoot broadband cable and DSL, as well as traditional telecommunication services

• Utilize your experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWALL, or other industry firewall/routing devices to manage IP Routing and Firewall Configurations

• Collaborate in a team to ensure the successful implementation of projects and incident resolution. Requirements • Must have strong knowledge and experience in Firewall Technologies.

• Proficiency in Fortinet Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewall is required.

• Needs to have a deep understanding of Network Vulnerability.

• Must be capable of handling WAN - Wide Area Network.

• Prior experience in Network Administration in the Marketing/PR industry would be advantageous.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in networking and security would be a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
