Robert Half is currently seeking a Payroll Manager for a valued partner located in Tampa, FL!

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare payroll reports summarizing payroll-related data and information for company review.

• Aid in the execution of more complex calculations or payroll situations that may arise for both internal and external issues.

• Ensure timely and accurate overview of payroll team's weekly payroll processing, including payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments and benefits, in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations.

• Utilize payroll software and provide consistent configuration support as it relates to payroll processes and utilization.

• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to payroll and make recommendations to policies and procedures as needed.

• Evaluate other areas of improvement to the payroll department and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide guidance, training and assistance to payroll team as needed.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in payroll management

• Experience working in a multi-state environment is needed

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus

• Strong communication and leadership skills are required

• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information responsibly

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is needed

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
