Objectives/Purpose of Job:

Responsible for the execution of engineering projects for equipment, facilities/utilities, and processes at the Tampa manufacturing facility under the guidance of a senior level professional. This position will also support ongoing improvements to existing processes/products and manufacturing equipment. This position is on-site only (not remote).

Key Activities/Responsibilities:

  1. Perform process development and technology transfer for new equipment/products into the Tampa manufacturing facility through design and execution of experimental and validation protocols, and documenting results in reports.

  2. Supports and leads capital project execution by performing activities related to equipment life cycle including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing, commissioning, installation, and operational qualification.

  3. Support and lead manufacturing support continuous improvement projects including safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  4. Participate in cross functional teams for project progression and investigations relating to Bausch and Lomb Tampa site.

Qualifications/Training:

  • BS in Mechanical, Chemical engineering or science degree may apply.

  • Minimum 3 years of Engineering or Validation experience.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Project management skills with Project Management Professional Certification Preferred.

  • Time management ability. Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Computer literate; capable of operating Microsoft Projects and Visio program.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess advanced math skills.

  • Able to work extended/odd hours around manufacturing schedule required.

  • Knowledge of aseptic processing highly desired.
