Citigroup Program Management Lead - VP (Hybrid) in Tampa, Florida

Overview:

The Program Management Lead - VP is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness.

There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables.

Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a project management office.

  • Drives adherence to Program/Project Management standards. Act as a point of contact for PMO standards related queries, ensuring consistency across the book of work.

  • Develop and enforce governance policies to ensure program/project alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategies for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects including risk management.

  • Build, maintain and manage all stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issue management to ensure deliverables are met.

  • Engage with Sales and Product partners to ensure accurate pipeline reporting. Lead the capacity planning process - determining capacity requirements, analyzing current capacity and planning for the future.

  • Facilitate deal pipeline review meetings to discuss high win probability deals. During this meetings, address any open risks or concerns and seek business approval for target implementation start and end dates.

  • Provide guidance, mentoring and support to project managers and teams. Make recommendations for training and development needs for assigned personnel.

  • Support creation of monthly Global Implementation Committee materials and follow-up actions to closure.

  • Conduct post implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas of improvement.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and communications to drive culture of excellence.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in project delivery or managing PMO functions.

  • PMP or Prince2 certified will be preferred.

  • Experience in waterfall and agile based project management.

  • Experience in banking and financial services preferred.

  • Negotiate skills with external parties.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
