The Industrial Systems Division EMEA (ISDE) is a worldwide leading manufacturer of innovative hydraulic industrial valves, manifolds, control systems and individual motion solutions which advance the performance of various applications for machine manufacturers all over the world. With operations in 5 locations in 4 different countries and more than 500 employees, ISDE operates in a dynamic matrix environment.

The Business Unit Industrial Manifolds is one out of 3 Business Units of ISDE with locations inTampere/Finland, Kaarst/Germany and Cellatica/Italy. The Business Unit is designing and manufacturing customer specific hydraulic manifold systems for focused market segments.

Tampereis the headquarter of the Business Unit where currently about 80 engaged employees (shopfloor and office) are driving growth.

For this location, we are currently looking for a motivated candidate, who would like to take the next career step as Location HR Manager (m/f/d)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work together with all functional areas and provide managers with all necessary information as well as guidance on HR related topics

  • Being an active member of the local management team

  • Manage recruitment processes and support employer branding activities

  • Coordinate, develop and administer the whole employee journey from entry to exit, including trainings, succession planning and reporting

  • Be an active driver of change processes within the location and build a network across the whole company to ensure continuous development and improvement

  • Act as engaged communicator between local unions, employers’ associations and other relevant partners


  • 3-5 years work experience in a generalistic HR role, preferably in the manufacturing environment

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) with major HR or equivalent education

  • Knowledge of employment law, collective agreements as well as HR systems and MS Office tools

  • A positive can-do activity, paired with excellent communication skills

  • Strong customer focus and experience in project management

  • Intrinsic motivation to be part of a collaborative work environment and take an active role in solving potential problems

  • Fluency in English and Finnish, written and verbally
