Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Specialist Global Procurement – R&pD in Tarrytown, New York
We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Global Procurement – for Research and pre-Clinical Development (R&pD) who will support the planning and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives. This role will support evaluations through the development of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. The Senior Specialist, Global Procurement – R&pD actively participates in supplier selection and provides data and recommendations to ensure informed selection decisions. Supporting the supplier information management process while supporting the category manager on the creation and negotiation of contracts. The Senior Specialist, Global Procurement – R&pD will support all vendor sourcing activities which includes preparing QBR data and measuring supplier performance.
A typical day might include:
Support category managers to perform supply market analyses and use sourcing tools to identify suppliers with capabilities which meet Regeneron’s business needs.
Supports the RFx process, supports contract negotiations, and ensures contract deliverables are realized, e.g., SLA’s, Savings, etc.
Monitors and ensures compliance with pricing agreements, internal policies, and procedures.
Reviews and approves POs in the Oracle workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits.
Works within iCertis to collect requirements, draft, and handle workflow for Scopes of Work (SOW) covering commercial terms.
Tracks the expiry of the contract's term and alerts sourcing manager and stakeholder(s) for existing contracts.
Supports the category team on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives which normally includes, but is not limited to, coordinating supplier governance meetings, creating/distributing scorecards, working with partners to review performance metrics, reporting SRM meeting action items, and tracking resolutions.

Experience successfully supporting global category teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories.
Establishes relationships with partners and suppliers to get results for Regeneron.
Demonstrated success supporting cross-functional teams to get results in research & pre-clinical development categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
Provide insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
Uses external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.
Individual who is experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to motivate change and improvement.
Demonstrated success supporting the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
Working knowledge of procurement, planning, supplier interface and negotiations, systems applications such as Zycus, Oracle, iCertis (Contracts Management), spend analytic software, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
To qualify for this role we are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience within procurement, to include up to 3 years or more experience directly in a procurement role or supporting procurement activities. We are also looking for work experience within a biopharmaceutical company preferred, but not required. This role requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.

Salary Range (annually)
$82,600.00 - $134,800.00
