Maintenance Technician

2nd shift

Job Description

• Handle hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Work with electrical systems ranging from 120v-480v.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems effectively.

• Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and SDS (Safety Data Sheets) is required.

• Maintain equipment according to the Preventative Maintenance program.

• Complete and maintain paperwork for maintenance performed.

• Assist in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisor.

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary.

• Comply with all plant safety and environmental regulations while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

• Perform emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.

• Perform inspections of completed maintenance and document results.
