Essential Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team. This role will be responsible for handling various coordinator duties such as scheduling interviews, answering phones, reviewing resumes, sourcing candidates, supporting special projects including mergers and acquisitions, and managing new hire onboarding.

Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process by managing calendars and logistics.

  • Communicate interview details to candidates and provide necessary information.

  • Administrative Support:

  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries from candidates and employees.

  • Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of recruitment materials.

  • Sourcing:

  • Review and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.

  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit for open positions.

  • Forward qualified candidates to hiring managers for further consideration.

  • Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

  • Engage with passive candidates through networking and social media.

  • Special Projects:

  • Support HR and recruitment initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions.

  • Assist with the integration of new employees during mergers and acquisitions.

  • Participate in other special projects as assigned by the HR team.

  • New Hire Onboarding:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.

  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure new hires have access to necessary resources.

  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide support to new employees during their transition.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a recruiting or HR coordinator role.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Experience with sourcing and candidate engagement is a plus.
