Job Title: Slab Associate 1st Shift

Job Description

• Work in the warehouse and slab yard guiding large slabs of natural and manufactured stone to viewing areas and shipping docks.
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Part of the warehouse is outside, requiring exposure to some elements and extensive walking.
• Engage in basic customer interaction.
• Minimal heavy lifting; focus on guiding and maneuvering slabs.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tempe, Arizona.

Work Environment

• National distributor of natural and manufactured stone, tile, and other solid surfaces for commercial and residential applications.
• Warehouse environment.
• 1st shift: 7AM - 5PM (Monday and Friday); 2nd shift: 12PM - 10PM.
• Open Saturdays; optional overtime available.
• Closed Sundays and holidays.
• Amenities provided: water, ice, Gatorade, coffee.
• Frequent hydration breaks in the summer.
• Required attire: steel-toed shoes, work jeans, plain t-shirt.
• Comfortable closed-toed steel shoes necessary due to extensive walking.
