Job Summary

Under indirect supervision, candidate will be assigned daily work. Must be able to work collaboratively with mechanics and production personnel. Takes direction from management supervision and Maintenance Leads. Position is subject to weekend and after-hours assignments. This position may require standing or walking for long periods of time. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for adding, removing and replenishing all production-related fluids or lubricants.

  • Activities include gathering and properly disposing of metal chips and/or scrap.

  • Familiar with hand tools and the appropriate application of those tools to perform the job.

  • Mechanical aptitude toward troubleshooting and repairing production equipment a big plus.

  • In addition to changing fluids, this position will be performing routine maintenance as required.

  • Assists team members with a wide variety of projects and tasks.

  • Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, while maintaining a clean work environment.

  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of work experience in an industrial setting.

  • Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Office 365 and email on a network.
