-Receiving incoming shipments and verifying their contents against purchase orders or packing lists. - Utilizing equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to unload and transport materials to designated storage areas. - Organizing and storing materials in accordance with inventory management procedures, ensuring proper rotation to prevent spoilage or obsolescence. - Fulfilling orders by accurately picking items from storage locations using hand-held scanners or other technology. - Packing outbound shipments securely, labeling packages with shipping information, and arranging for transportation carriers to pick up deliveries. - Monitoring inventory levels and conducting routine inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate recordkeeping. -Assisting with audits or cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify any potential issues. -Operating equipment safely and adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. - Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient material handling operations. - Collaborating with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production or customer demands effectively.
