Amazon Program Manager, Seller Sales Abuse Prevention in Tempe, Arizona

Our team focuses on preventing multiple forms of Selling Partner abuse, and reinforcing Customer trust in our store. We address risk from Selling Partner accounts by enforcing Amazon’s selling and listing policies, creating a trustworthy selling experience to ensure that Selling Partners perceive Amazon as the safest and most effective store in which to sell their products worldwide, and partnering with other Amazon teams to ensure accuracy in our enforcement actions.

We’re looking for a Program Manager to help us lead our efforts to prevent Competitor risk. As Amazon has grown, it has become an attractive target for malicious actors that attempt to game our systems and processes. These malicious actors continue to look for gaps in our systems, which they try to take advantage of. This leader will predict and identify risks, help define initiatives to resolve those risks, and will lead our teams in building preventative tools and services that get us one step ahead of malicious actors. In this role, you will be:

  • Working closely with Risk Management teams, Machine Learning Data Science teams, Operations, and others to develop and implement solutions to stop bad actors.

  • Establish and monitor goals and metrics to identify and measure opportunities and success.

  • Effectively prioritizing and managing a portfolio of projects and initiatives, considering trade-offs and optimizing for Customer and seller experience

Location is PHX11, hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote.

About the team

Selling Partner and Trust and Store Integrity (SP T&S) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting Customers, Brands, Selling Partners and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as empowering, providing world‐class support, and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of Selling Partners. Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
