Our company is a leading manufacturer that designs and manufactures custom batteries and battery control electronic systems for military and commercial aircraft applications. We are seeking a high energy, self-driven, detail oriented experienced individual with knowledge of industry and governmental quality regulations.

Your responsibility includes assisting in developing and implementing company and regulatory quality standards in our manufacturing facility and conduct activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. You will conduct audits and review quality data according to existing documents and procedures. You will also investigate and resolve supplier quality and work-in-process issues to meet customer demand and required schedule commitments. Audit vendor processes and capabilities to ensure incoming product quality meets company requirements.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Creation, review, and management of Organization documentation system to maintain the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Monitoring and reporting of KPIs and other quality metrics including data capture and analysis, presentation, and reporting.
  • Support additional activities pertaining to regulatory issues researching responses as needed for all levels of the organization.
  • Maintaining and monitoring DMRs and MRB activities for non-conformances in materials and product, ensure supplier\'s support on communication and analysis as required in obtaining root cause, corrective action, and disposition of non-conforming material.
  • Maintain and manage activities pertaining to the Calibration System for external and internal activities.
  • Support External Audits activities throughout the facility by schedule, guide and manage audit activity on regular basis.
  • Perform as Internal Auditor the Internal Audit Program and document internal audits including conformance to international standards and Performance Effectiveness Assessments.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and process owners to identify processes and document best practices.
  • Manage and maintain Training Program in accordance with defined requirements.
  • Support and control Continuous Improvement activities and ensure implementation and effectiveness of these actions.

What Do You Need To Be Successful In This Role?

  • 7-10 years of experience in Quality Function.
  • 2+ years\' experience with Aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Military/Aerospace experience is a plus!
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret FAA Quality requirements.
  • String experience using Core Quality Tools (PPAPs, FMEAs, CPs, MSAs and SPC).
  • Experience in facilitating the identification, research, and preparation of background information regarding production, operations, and purchasing history as requested to support RCCA investigations and other manufacturing\'s needs activities as required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret International/National Standards, e.g., AS9100, AS, ARP, and NAS standards.
  • Ability to read and understand technical and regulatory documentation, including, not limited to, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn ERP System Software (Epicor).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to clearly communicate with various levels without and within the organization.
  • Previous experie ce as an FAA Designee is a plus!

This is a full-time, contingent-to-hire onsite opportunity in Tempe, Arizona.

Pay Rate is between \$35.00 to \$48.00 per hour.
