We are seeking a Senior Materials Management Analyst to be an expert in the implementation of material purchasing , material planning , production planning , inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Honeywell Aerospace. You will engage in the execution and follow up with policies, procedures, and material control systems . You will identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. You are expected to lead project teams within the business.

This is a hybrid position for our site in Tempe, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with production schedulers and procurement to ensure MPS is clear to build.

  • Solve material related problems

  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell Operating System

  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance

  • Continually optimize and monitor inventory

  • Provide data and analysis

  • Escalate shortages and potential shortages

  • Close coordination with cross functional teams

  • Understand work center capacity constraints

  • Communicate estimated ship dates as needed

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of Material Management experience

WE VALUE

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • APICS certification

  • Knowledge in lean , six sigma tools and problem-solving methodology

  • Knowledge in Project Management

  • Leadership skills
