The Transfer Center at Union Health is looking for a Staffing Coordinator team member for the Terre Haute campus. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, fully committed to providing the highest quality health care experience and dedicated to supporting their team who work in a fast-paced environment. The Staffing Coordinator staff assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required and is responsible for planning, organizing and scheduling workers to ensure that needs are fulfilled.

    Instrument Tech Essential Job Duties:

  • The staffing coordinator generates, manages, and updates master schedules while making adjustments as needed according to census fluctuations, call-ins, and budget parameters.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policy and procedures.

  • Completes other duties as assigned by the Director(s) of Nursing

  • Demonstrates appropriate conduct and positive attitude

    Education, Training & Experience

  • Excellent English and reading skills

  • Functional or working knowledge of computers required.

  • Associate degree in healthcare related field and more than 2 years’ experience in acute care hospital required.

  • Must obtain Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field within 3 years.
