Madix Inc. QA Admin(Quality Assurance Associate) in Terrell, Texas

Essential Functions

Oversee and maintain of Madix Inc. paint/powder inspection program for all Madix Inc. facilities. Oversee and maintain Madix Inc. Quality Assurance Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) database (FQRs, Color Inquiries/New Color Set-Up, Sample Request, Store Visits, Product Certification, Product Defect, and maintain Knowledge Articles). Assist with creation or maintaining quality assurance reports, documents, processes and/or procedures for all Madix Inc. facilities. May be required to perform part inspections, set-ups and tests on displays and fixtures, and packaging of parts. May sometimes be required to travel to other Madix Inc. facilities to perform quality audits. May sometimes be required to travel to stores/vendors to provide repairs/service for customers or perform vendor audits using the company vehicle. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Preform other duties as assigned.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Effective communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to color match and distinguish color variations plus/minus 1 Hunter unit or E=0.5. Ability to read drawings and use a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch and other measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers a plus. Good computer skills - ability to use Windows-based programs such as Outlook (e-mail), Word and Excel a plus. Ability to work inside of manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Must to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience

Requires High school diploma/GED. College degree preferred. English required, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Requires computer skills. SAP experience preferred. Microsoft Dynamic 365 preferred. Some technical writing preferred. Some customer service preferred.

Work Environment

Manufacturing plant environment with extreme fluctuation in temperature. Dusty and noisy environment. Exposure to odors and fumes.
