Scope of Position: The sales operations team drives sales efficiency globally, through metrics, training, CRM and cross functional alignment. Within this team, the role of the Commercial Data and Reporting Analyst is to serve as a bridge connecting internal/external customers with business related reports and information. Comfortable utilizing performance excellence tools, they also bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Their primary focus is on leveraging PBI, Salesforce and other sales and reporting technologies to optimize and streamline business processes. They are playing an active role in transforming some of our current manual operation tools into automatic IT solutions. They should have a strong subject matter understanding of commercial operations processes, tools, and systems.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Sales Incentive Plan processes

  • Administer sales incentive programs

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of sales incentive programs

  • This includes tracking performance metrics and ensuring that incentive data is accurate and up to date

  • Develop and maintain tools to drive annual budget cycle

  • Monthly build of data cube for SIP processing

  • Collaborate with Commercial Reporting team and Sales managers to identify new customers and update mapping files

  • Support quarterly transfer meeting with Sales managers and load subsequent, approved corrections

  • Coordinate escalations as required to resolve unapproved correction requests

  • Support quarterly reviews with Sales Leadership, HR, and Finance to share performance results and deeper analyses such as observed trends, themes, and potential focus areas that may lead to future plan optimization

  • Capture, troubleshoot, report out and correct any errors identified by sales managers

  • Provide training and support to the Commercial team on the use of IT Sales Incentive Planning systems

  • Collaborate with IT and the data analytics team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data. Sales intelligence

  • Develop, manage, and communicate reporting and analytics critical to the commercial organization

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications

  • Work together with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and IT professionals to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring the successful implementation and enhancement of solutions

  • Act as the subject matter expert for sales technology platforms, providing guidance and best practices to ensure optimal system performance and data integrity

  • Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)

Education and experience requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management of Information Systems, Systems Engineering

  • Technical education and experience in query tools, data compilation and manipulation for trend analysis and suggested solutions

  • 3-5 years Data Analytics experience

  • Knowledge and experience with sales and sales processes (inclusive of Sales Incentive Plans)

  • Knowledge of CRM systems, ERP systems, and other sales-related software

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (customer focused, enabling, engaging)

  • Ability to work/build relationships in an international multi-cultural matrix organization

  • Results oriented, detailed oriented, rigorous, forward looking

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerBI, Power Query functionality and Excel

The range for this position is $89,607.00 - $123,210.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
