We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as an Operations Research Analyst, Senior (Innovation Liaison) to work out of Austin, TX.

Position is contingent upon award of contract

Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity supporting ARCWERX Innovation Center in Austin, TX. Responsible for collaboration across DoD innovation ecosystem to include DIU, Army Futures, Air Force Futures, Navy research, AFWERX, SOFWERX, and more. Analysis and situational awareness of DoD wide innovation initiatives and correlation to ARCWEX innovation portfolio, strategic initiatives, and requirements. Negotiate data sharing agreements with mission partners. Collaboration with industry and academia on emerging technologies and opportunity concepts. Work with program senior technical leads on ARCWERX mission decomposition analysis to identify critical capability needs and strategic goals. Lead global emerging technology cell monitoring and evaluating emerging technologies for viability in innovative opportunity concepts.

Essential Duties:

  • Mission Decomposition: Working with senior technical advisors on ARCWERX mission decomposition to identify critical capabilities and strategic requirements.

  • Collaboration: Collaborates with broader DoD innovation community correlating opportunities and tracking activities for collaborative initiatives.

  • Collaborates with industry and academia on innovative opportunity concepts.

  • Develops and maintains information for collaboration dashboards correlating and tracking opportunity concepts across mission partner activities.

  • Technology Scanning: Works with senior technology leads to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and opportunity concepts related to ARCWERX strategic goals.

  • Assesses feasibility of various potential technology solutions and viability of opportunity concepts.

  • Uses professional concepts to contribute to development of company concepts and principles.

  • Exercises independent judgment. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

  • Analysis and evaluation of military operations and CONOPS.

  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and systems through operational research methods.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of related experience

  • Experience in operations research and innovation analysis.

  • Experience with military operations and concepts of operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Operational Concepts Development, mission analysis, and military mission space.

Education/ Certification:

  • Master’s degree in degree in engineering or a related field.

Required Clearance: Secret

Travel: Required
