Axiom Medical Content Marketing & SEO Specialist in The Woodlands, Texas

Duties:                       

The Content Marketing & SEO Specialist (“CMSS”) is an integral member of Axiom’s Marketing Department (“Marketing”). The CMSS will play a key role in developing and managing content in support of company initiatives, internal/external communications and all marketing deliverables and mediums. The CMSS will be accountable for applying advanced written communication skills, utilizing content management systems, and creating meaningful messaging in order to deliver a broad range of products ultimately impacting revenue generation and corporate branding.  Additionally, the CMSS be expected to manage multiple projects, setting project goals, identifying project requirements, directing tasks, as well as overseeing adherence to deadlines and deliverables. This role will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Marketing Manager. 

Essential Functions: 

The essential functions of the CMSS are to:

  • Analyzes, reviews, and implements website content recommendations for search engine optimization, maximizing the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines.

  • Create internal and external content, including blogs, web content, webinars, collateral, advertising, sales materials, e-mail and other digital campaigns, editorial-style articles, case studies, employee communications, announcements, media responses, and press releases.

  • Content management software administration and documentation.

  • Write clear, concise and engaging content.

  • Proofread material to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content that is concise and compelling.

  • Work closely with internal graphics professionals on creation of visual content to support communications (images, graphics, infographics, social shareables, and video).

  • Drive content strategy, high-quality, and high-touch materials, with proper tone, messaging and effectiveness, providing value for the Axiom Medical brand & core messages.

  • Update content in content management systems.

  • Ensure website maintains a high level of quality and professionalism emphasizing style, efficiency and maintainability and complies with corporate messaging and communications standards.

    Qualifications:

    The successful candidate should have a combination of demonstrated experience and education that is equivalent to 3 years with a focus on marketing, journalism, communications, or related field.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach,

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work,

  • Light to moderate lifting is required,

  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling,

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
