Description

Southern New Jersey Company needs an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for entering, posting and reconciling batches, research and resolve customer accounts receivable issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collections calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update and reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger.

• Matching, batching, coding and entering invoices

• Posting cash receipts to open accounts receivable.

• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

• Entering, posting and reconciling batches

• Researching and resolving accounts receivables issues with customers or vendors

• Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger

• Maintaining cash applications, account reconciliations and chargebacks

  Requirements

• Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills.

• 1+ years of accounts receivables experience.

• Familiarity with credit and collection operations procedures

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Knowledge of general accounting principles

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration preferred.
