What you will do

In this vital role you will serve as a member of Amgen’s Late-Stage Synthetics Drug Product development team, learning and providing hands-on formulation and process expertise during the development of clinical and commercial products for solid oral dosage forms (small molecule focus).

• Interface within the Drug Product Technologies and external functions as a team member to support programs and initiatives.

• Contribute to experimentation design and execution, and assist in analysis and interpretation of data.

• Organize and communicate information within the team to help lead to the best possible formulation and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED and 4 years of Process development experience OR

• Associate’s degree and 2 years of Process development experience OR

• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences or other related fields.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to design, execute, and interpret experimental results.

• Experience in working with diverse team members in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Basic understanding of organic and physical chemistry, material sciences, and statistics.

• Motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
