Job Summary:

Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) has an opening for a full time (40 hours a week) summer intern position in the Fab Operations group in the Electronics Division starting June 2025 until September 2025.
Essential duties :
Work with team members in a cleanroom environment to develop and characterize advanced semiconductor fabrication processes
Assist in the design of experiments for cleanroom process module development
Perform metrology using standard cleanroom characterization tools and assist in data analysis
Assist in the development of statistical process controls for cleanroom process modules
Document and report on development efforts
Desired skills, experience, and qualities :
Previous knowledge and experience using cleanroom tools (lithography, deposition, etch…)
Experience with cleanroom metrology tools (profilometry, scanning electron microscope, ellipsometry…)
Basic understanding of semiconductor devices (bipolar and field effect transistors) and process flows is a plus
Basic understanding of design of experiments and statistical process control is a plus
Well organized and detail oriented
Good communication skills and inquisitive mind
Education:
Electrical engineering undergraduate students with some previous hands-on cleanroom experience
Citizenship Requirements
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary Range:
$49,830.00-$66,550.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
