Duties and Responsibilities:

Fixed assets and depreciation

• FAS100 software

Reconcile General Ledger to detailed accounts

• Including AR, AP, cash, other accounts

Month-end inventories - tooling, gases, etc

Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards

Review GL accounts for proper postings

Track accruals and prepaids

Weekly payroll submissions, GL reports

• Monthly accrued payrolls and payroll taxes

Verify weekly AP payments for check runs

• Assure all invoices have proper approvals before payment.

J-SOX paperwork, filing storage

Assist in quarterly and yearly audits

Assist in year-end physical inventories

Back-up:

Entering vendor and AR invoices in Sage50

Process AR invoices in EDI

Enter remittances for customer payments

Competencies - Education - Experience

Excellent mathematical skills - use of a calculator Proficient in Word, Excel, etc. Highly detail oriented Two years of hands-on GAAP and payroll experience Two to three years AP, AR, GL experience Ability to work in stressful situations Overtime is expected

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
