Job Title: TIG Welder - Day Shift- 4 Day Work Week!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in fabricating custom automation machinery. The ideal candidate will work with various ferrous and non-ferrous metals, fabricating parts using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments such as tape measures and blueprints. This role involves mainly MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel of varying thicknesses, as well as some pipe welding.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom automation machinery

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel (16 gauge to 1" thick) and stainless steel (18 gauge to 1/2" thick)

• Execute pipe welding as needed

• Use power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments

• Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures

• Engage in mechanical assembly and machine building

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience

• 5 years of fabrication experience

• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding

• Experience welding mild steel and stainless steel

• Custom fabrication experience in a job shop environment

• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints

• Experience using hand and power tools (e.g., grinders, combination squares, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measures)

• Basic computer skills including 3D modeling and ERP software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pipe welding experience

• Welding certifications

Work Environment

This position operates on a first shift schedule from 6am to 4pm Monday through Thursday, with optional hours on Fridays ranging from 4-8 hours as needed. Our facility is equipped with advanced tools and technologies, and we support a variety of industries including automotive, sporting, and aerospace sectors. The team consists of approximately 70 employees, working collaboratively in a learning-focused and inclusive culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tiffin, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
