Job Title: Civil Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Engineer to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, and technicians on transportation and municipal projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for infrastructure design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, and thorough project QA/QC. This role also includes developing and managing the project scope, schedule, and budget, as well as delivering high-quality projects. Collaboration with a team of engineers and mentoring entry-level staff will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team on transportation and municipal projects

  • Design infrastructure and prepare construction documents

  • Estimate project costs and conduct thorough QA/QC

  • Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget

  • Deliver high-quality projects to clients

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers

  • Mentor entry-level staff

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • EIT certification

  • 3+ years of experience in civil engineering (water, transportation, site)

  • Proficiency in Microstation and Civil 3D

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Desire to become a project manager

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment with hybrid capabilities. The company is currently working on acquiring a brand new office located near downtown Toledo. The company is privately owned with no intention of selling to a larger firm, offering opportunities for rapid growth into leadership positions. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00
