Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced industrial maintenance electrician. In this role, you will perform a mix of 60% electrical and 40% mechanical repairs. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, conducting regular preventative and predictive maintenance of equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. Key tasks include electrical maintenance on 480v 3-phase, 110v, 24v AC/DC systems, rewiring motors, and working with frequency drives. You will also handle mechanical maintenance on conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, pumps, motors, drive shafts, and gears. Additionally, you will troubleshoot Fanuc robots, Vision Inspection Systems, and DC Torque Control Systems, read blueprints and schematics, and perform MIG welding and fabrication. Building maintenance tasks such as basic painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and other facility maintenance functions are also part of the role. You may be required to perform other duties as needed within the plant.

Work Environment

This is a union environment (UAW Local 12). 5 AM to 2:30 PM. The position offers a pay range of $32 to $38 per hour with no shift premium for off shifts. This is a direct hire opportunity.
