Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounting Clerk in the heart of Toledo, Ohio. This role is pivotal in the finance industry, where you will be tasked with maintaining accurate customer and financial records, processing customer credit applications, and managing customer inquiries. This position is based in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace and offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.

• Maintenance of precise customer credit records, updating data when necessary.

• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, acting as a point of contact for all account-related concerns.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions to ensure financial integrity.

• Conducting account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes.

• Working with Sage Intacct for optimized accounting functions.

• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve customer experience. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Must demonstrate a high level of competence in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software is mandatory

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required

• Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are necessary

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
