What you'll do * Develop, modify, and maintain economic models for new and existing projects under the direction of the Commercial & Development team. * Assist in the coordination and compilation of annual Business Plan, Budget & Forecasts, and Capital Plan. * Maintain and update all required input fields within IPS (pipeline's integrated management software system). * Identify, evaluate, and present business process improvement and streamline opportunities to optimize the asset and procedure. * Actively investigate and stay current on changing conditions in the business environment, industry, & customer operations, and investment opportunities. * Research customer and market activities to support the Commercial & Development team. Who you are * Available to begin work on January 6, 2025 * Legal authorization to work in the United States . * As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required. * Previous experience is considered an asset. * Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education * Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineer, Commerce Undergraduate Program specializing in Finance or Economics, or an Engineering Undergraduate Program * Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th year. * Currently attending an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term. * Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered. * Strong academic performance * Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester. * Attached copies of transcripts * New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
