Our client, a hydraulic manufacturer, is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded accounting skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Tomball, Texas

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

What’s the Job?

• Full Cycle Accounting

• Computation of bi-weekly payroll with commission and non-commission employees and entry to outside payroll vendor

• Accurately classify transactions in accounting software on a daily basis

• Review credit card statements, match all charges on statements to receipts from staff, make payments, and research charges if necessary

• Work with CPA on special projects and year-end closing

• All Accounts Receivable/Payable Functions

• General Ledger and All Account Reconciliations including bank accounts and credit card charges.

• Ensuring accuracy of each transaction and proper classification.

• Various monthly reporting

• Office management roles

• Certain Human Resources management roles

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree

• Bookkeeping: 5 years’ experience

• Bilingual preferred
