Job Summary

Responsibilities include:assisting the Director in managing the unit with staff schedules, evaluations, discipline & QI.Managers patient care delivery on an assigned shift. Insures that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
BSN degree or matriculating
NJ RN License
At least 2 years acute care, med/surg/telemetry RN experience
BLS required (American Heart Association)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Leadership Skills with organizational and interpersonal skills required
Preferred:
- Management or Charge experience
Scheduling Requirements:
- Day shift, 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
The ADP assists the Director in the day to running of the unit. The position is part Staff and part Management. Oversees the schedule and staffing. Mentor s staff. Assists with the Unit s Quality Measures and Staff Education and Discipline.
