RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Nurse Coordinator for the Neuroscience Institute at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• 3-5 years in Nursing

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS & ACLS Certification

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Preferred:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Specialty Certification

• Neurological nursing and critical care experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day shift, 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

• The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a stroke registry for all inpatients

• Will work with the interdisciplinary team on development, implementation and evaluation of data collection, analysis and reports according to national and state requirements and standards

• Will assist in professional education programs as requested

• Will provide support / resource to the NeuroScience Institute and Stroke Team
