Safire Rehabilitation of Northtowns is seeking a full time Dietary Supervisor. The Dietary Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Food Service Director in the creation of high quality meals and the delivering of a meaningful dining experience for clients in our long term skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities include: * Overseeing and assisting the Food Service Staff with meal preparation based on established menus, regulations, policies, procedures and best practices. * Regularly soliciting client feedback and incorporating solutions regarding the quality and satisfaction of meals served. * Assist with menu planning. * Maintain and monitor accurate meal documentation records per established procedures. * Assist with cleaning of equipment and work areas. * Participate in resident care conferences as assigned. * Assists cook with the production of meals for service, as required. * Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events. * Supervises the storage & care of food and supplies. * Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, & dining areas, and equipment.
Qualifications: * Must possess, as a minimum a high school or equivalent education. * Completion of a food service supervisor course preferred, Certified Dietary Manager preferred. * One (1) year food service experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting. * Knowledge of state and federal food-handling and kitchen regulations (Serve Safe Certification). Must possess knowledge of food service operations. * Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
