Job Title: Grinding Operator

Job Description

Locally owned manufacturing facility with many international customers is in search of a grinding operator to join their welding and machining departments!

Employees will be working primarily on the shop floor and will be responsible for grinding finished parts made from various steels and aluminum. Parts will need to be completed to company or client specifications and follow all ISO standards. Employees will also support other departments as needed including shipping/receiving, assembly, quality, etc.

Medical, dental, and vision benefits will be provided along with paid holidays, PTO, and NYS sick leave. This is a first shift, Monday through Friday position.

Skill Requirements:

• Previous machine operation or metal working preferred

• High mechanical aptitude

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Blueprint reading beneficial

• High attention to detail

• Previous metal working experience beneficial including machining, welding, automotive repair, etc.

Work Environment

You will work in a professional shop environment where the owners are actively involved on-site. The setting combines office and floor work, ensuring a collaborative and hands-on experience.
