HP Inc. Strategic Account Manager in Topeka, Kansas

As a Strategic Accounts Manager for HP Industrial Print, you will be responsible for managing top-tier accounts across North America. In this role, you will collaborate with C-level executives at leading printing and packaging companies to develop long-term, strategic business partnerships. You will navigate complex sales cycles, close multi-million-dollar deals, and work cross-functionally to deliver customized solutions that meet the evolving needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement : Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across assigned accounts. Understand their business needs and align HP Industrial Print's solutions with their objectives, ensuring mutual success.

  • Account Management : Oversee and manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from operational to executive, fostering long-term partnerships. Regularly update clients on HP's latest products and solutions to maintain a competitive edge and meet their evolving needs.

  • Sales Leadership : Lead the sales cycle from identifying opportunities to closing multi-million-dollar deals, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.

  • Strategic Planning : Develop and execute long-term business strategies that align with both HP's goals and the client's objectives, ensuring continuous growth and partnership success.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams such as services, supplies, customer success, and marketing to deliver tailored solutions and enhance the overall customer experience.

  • Account Expansion : Identify opportunities to introduce new applications or products, expanding the client's product portfolio and driving incremental revenue through long-term partnerships.

  • Performance Tracking : Monitor and analyze account performance and client satisfaction, adjusting strategies and actions to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Market Expertise : Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights and drive strategic decision-making for clients.

  • Presentation Skills : Deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership both internally and externally, ensuring alignment of strategies with business goals and fostering strong relationships with decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • Experience : 7+ years of experience managing complex sales and account management, ideally in capital equipment. Proven track record of managing large accounts and closing multi-million-dollar deals in a B2B environment. Experience in the commercial print, packaging, labels, or related industries is preferred.

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to overcome customer objections and resistance effectively.

  • Collaboration : Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, including service, marketing, customer success, and product development, to drive results.

  • CRM and Business Tools Proficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and other business tools to track sales, analyze data, and improve decision-making.

  • Time Management : Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines efficiently.

  • Presentation Skills : Skilled in delivering clear and impactful presentations to senior leadership, both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving strategic initiatives.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $177,100 to $272,750 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
