We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial industry, based in Torrance, California. The role involves working as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager(Commercial Finance) , focusing on tasks related to financial analysis, sales support, and revenue planning. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with Senior Leadership and Sales Directors, demonstrating their analytical proficiency, strategic thinking, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with Senior Leadership and Sales Directors, serving teams across different locations.

• Demonstrate analytical proficiency, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and influencing skills to support business decisions.

• Assist Sales Directors in understanding commercial performance against targets.

• Collaborate with Sales Directors to analyze customer demand, bookings, and sales across various dimensions.

• Lead the preparation and development of the Revenue Annual Plan.

• Manage monthly and ad hoc reporting of revenue and price actions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Apply various skills including '3M', 'Adaptive Insights', 'CapEx', 'ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning', 'ERP Solutions', 'Accounting Functions', 'Budget Processes', 'Capital Management', 'C-Suite', and 'Finance'.

• Use Commercial Finance experience to collaborate directly with Sales leaders.

• Handle large datasets and provide strategic insights using strong analytical skills.

• Apply knowledge of the manufacturing industry, preferably aerospace manufacturing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager role or similar

• Proficiency in utilizing 3M, Adaptive Insights, CapEx, and ERP Solutions

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, and Capital Management

• Experience working with C-Suite, Finance, and Commercial Finance

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Capable of making strategic decisions based on financial analysis

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

• Ability to identify financial risks and opportunities

• Advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are considered an advantage

• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
