About You

We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Quality Manager- Customer Experience. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will build and maintain strong, enduring business customer partnerships by driving the Customer Compliance and Audit programs. Ensuring Dymax implements the customer quality requirements to ensure we are delivering consistent communication of quality escapes, collecting, reporting, and acting on VOC data. Become the champion of external and internal Quality Audits and compliance requirements while providing best overall customer experience and leveraging a global digital QMS platform; ETQ.

In addition, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the Dymax Customer Quality Programby analyzing data (VOC, Operational, and Quality) to develop solutions that bring resolution to customer concerns. In addition, continue to develop strategic roadmaps to efficiently engage with the customer and provide long-term solutions that continue to foster the customer relationship with Dymax.

  • Foster a proactive, innovative, customer-advocating Customer Quality Teamby exercising strong leadership and judgment skills to acquire, develop, train, coach, cultivate, and manage talented, results-oriented Customer Quality Experience personnel.

  • Adopt and leverage Quality Tools to ensure resolution of customer concernsby resolving customer issues, managing case management and nonconformances utilizing Quality Tools such as, Pareto, 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies. In addition, employ systematic root cause analysis and drive to CAPA effectiveness.

  • Prepare and manage Customer Quality compliance and audit programby responding to customer surveys/questionnaires, coordinate PPAP requirements and on-site/remote customer audits, and driving internal QMS audit program to maintain conformity to federal programs and international standards for Dymax.

  • Lead & manage Customer Quality improvement initiativesby developing corporate quality systems and workflows and configurations within trainings, documentation, Quality alerts, CFR System, CAPAs in an integrated eQMS (ETQ) platform

  • Create awareness and solution techniques to Customer Quality issue initiativesby regularly interfacing across all company functions improving our Internal practices, particularly Customer Quality Experience.

Requirements

You should have:

  • BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or equivalency.

  • ASQ certification and continuous improvement specialty training required

  • 5+ years of B2B customer-facing experience

  • 3+ years of experience managing, growing, and developing people

  • Knowledge and skills as a quality engineer highly desired

  • Specialty chemical processing and batch manufacturing experience preferred

  • Medical Devices or automotive Quality Systems experience preferred

  • Understanding of QC lab equipment that is consistent with the manufacture of adhesives; i.e. Viscometer, FTIR, and other QC equipment that Dymax utilizes.

  • Experience in developing systems/workflows on electronic QMS (ETQ, Master control), ERP

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within and outside of the organization

  • Strong organizational and time management skills Desired Skills

  • Analytical problem-solving skills such as DIVE, 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies

  • Manage a Quality Engineer.

Salary Range: $91,000-$148,000

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
