Guest Services. 4 temporary, full-time positions. 3/3/2025 to 11/10/2025. Wuerfel Resorts - Alexandra Inn, LLC Alexandra Inn located at 2227 N US 31 N Traverse City, MI. 49686. . Perform any combination of guest services including but not limited to: taking reservations in person, over the phone and on a computer, talking to guests, performing check-in/out of guests, posting payments and charges to guest folios, giving directions, cleaning public areas including indoor and outdoor furniture, vacuuming, folding laundry during downtime, communicating with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are cleaned. Assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner: which includes but not limited to: restocking food, disinfecting surfaces, clearing tables, and sweeping floors.

Guest Service agents assist with:

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner: Using tongs, place pre-made/pre-packaged rolls, breads and food items on platters and put the platters in the coffee bar/buffet area. Remove the platters and restock when empty. Refill the coffee and hot chocolate cartridges in the coffee machine, including restocking the coffee condiments such as milk, cream and sugar.

Cleaning: the guest service agent will assist with cleaning and wiping down the buffet surface with cleaning solution, wiping down of service areas in and around their front desk workspace with rags and cleaning solution and cleaning the buffet area floors with mops.

Restocking: the guest service agent may assist with the restocking the coffee bar area with coffee and hot chocolate cartridges, and other miscellaneous?items (coffee condiments, packaged snacks etc.) when they are depleted as new inventory arrives.?Restock the gift area near the front desk with prepackaged snacks, canned or bottled beverages and clothing items when inventory is depleted.

40 hours per week. 8-hour workday. Monday-Sunday. Shift schedules may vary, potential shift schedules include: 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am. Days off and shift times may vary. Saturdays and Sundays required. OT varies. No minimum education required. 3 months experience is required. Post-employment drug testing based upon employer's reasonable suspicion. Wage: $15.07/hour. OT Wage: $22.61/hour. Workers paid Bi-Weekly. Housing Assistance: Optional board/lodging available at a cost of $80/week to be deducted from pay if elected. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $15.88/day during travel to a maximum of $59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
