Job Profile Summary
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to oversee complex and extensive statewide/enterprise architecture, installation, migration, and upgrade projects on the BI Reporting Platform using SAP Business Objects 4.3 and Crystal 2020. This position will be full-time and hybrid .
What You’ll Do
Managing complex, large-scale enterprise architecture, installation, migration, and upgrade projects on the BI Reporting Platform
Setting up and configuring security components for applications such as SSL, CyberArk, Tomcat, and addressing Java security vulnerabilities
Enterprise-level architecture and design, server hardware configuration, sizing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Responsible for migration and upgrade planning, design, and implementation, as well as identifying and managing issues, risks, and action items
Anticipate and resolve issues and risks that affect the project team's work and coordinate with various NJ state infrastructure teams, application stakeholders, and management
Effective collaboration with IT and functional areas and coordination with the SAP vendor support team for SAP BO application product support
Develop contingency plans, provide accurate and detailed estimates, and have project management experience capable of translating business processes into business and technical requirements
Evaluate and revise business processes, have experience with IDT, and convert .UNV to .UNX file
Leading research, evaluation, design, and planning for new BI offerings, such as Tableau and future BI cloud solutions, and requires a solid understanding of Business Intelligence concepts
What You'll Need
Software Development LifeCycle
Enterprise with Business Intelligence Development in an enterprise data warehouse environment, Including identifying user requirements
Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Mart environment utilizing upgrade Business Objects
Experience using upgraded Business Objects XI in an Oracle hosted Data Warehouse
Experience using Business Objects Designer and Web Intelligence including universe and report design, Construction and documentation
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
