Job Summary

As the .NET Developer, you will be responsible for coding and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications.

Job Description

We are looking for a . NETt Developer for coding and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function and according to client's specifications within Microsoft.NET Framework. This position will be full-time and fully remote .

*What You’ll Do *

  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages, primarily C#

  • Test and deploy applications and systems

  • Revise, update, refactor, and debug code

  • Improve existing software

  • Work closely with the development team to optimize the functionality and responsiveness of applications

  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture

  • Develop client displays and user interfaces Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements

  • Coordinate with other software professionals and developers 

*What You'll Need *

Required: 

  • 6+ years of experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer

  • Familiarity with the .NET framework and SQL Server

  • Knowledge in C#, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Oracle DB, YAML Pipelines (Code Deployment), Git Repos, Dependency Injection, Automated Unit Testing, CI/CD Practices

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies

  • Strong attention to detail Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

  • Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs

  • Ability to work independently and in team settings 

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in COBOL programming language.

  • Knowledge of Integrated Database Management System (IDMS) and its integration with COBOL applications.

  • Proficiency in IDMS Data Manipulation Language (DML) for database operations.

  • Understanding of mainframe systems and legacy codebases.

  • Familiarity with Job Control Language (JCL) and its role in COBOL systems.

  • Experience with code translation tools and emulation software.

  • Experience analyzing and translating JCL scripts.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
