What Data Analytics brings to Cardinal Health:

The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Qualifications

  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred

  • 8-12 years experience preferred

  • SQL, Tableau, Datawarehouse, Salesforce CRM platform experience, Advanced Excel preferred

  • Client facing/ Consulting Experience

  • High proficiency in SQL – Advanced. Ability to build complex queries to support adhoc report requests.

  • Proficiency in Tableau/other data visualization tools – Advanced. Ability to build custom dashboards to support client needs.

  • Data storytelling – experience presenting data stories to different audiences (technical and non-technical).

  • Expert Excel skills (including Macros). Expert PPT skills.

  • Consulting experience preferred – ability to navigate complex processes, client expectations and stakeholders

  • Patient/Hub Service, Rare Disease Patient Analytics, Provider Analytics, Call Center Data,Data feeds (Data Aggregators)

Responsibilities

  • Works with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, goals, or objectives

  • Determines if objectives can be met using an analytical approach and develops hypothesis.

  • Identifies key data requirements and acquires data. Harmonizes, rescales, and cleans data for statistical techniques

  • Works across programs to share best practices

  • Acts as a resource for other analysts in developing actionable analytics

  • Applies data visualization techniques to evaluate data for model specification etc.

  • Builds custom quantitative models by applying advanced statistical methods such as causal and predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, simulation, and/or optimization.

  • Demonstrates the ability to perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and determines need for reformulation.

  • Interprets results of quantitative models, identifies trends, and issues, and develops alternatives to support business objectives.

  • Demonstrates ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences and mediums.

  • Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize models into day-to-day business decision making.

  • Demonstrates the ability to develop and lead changes of policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Acts as a product owner for data analytics visualization platform and provides subject matter expertise on new or enhancement requests. Acts a liaison between business and technology team to establish requirements and evaluate performance.

TRAINING AND WORK SCHEDULES: Your new hire training will take place 8:00am-5:00pm CT, mandatory attendance is required.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 7:00am- 7:00pm CT.

REMOTE DETAILS: You will work remotely, full-time. It will require a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet. Internet requirements include the following:

Maintain a secure, high-speed, broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) at the remote location. Dial-up, satellite, WIFI, Cellular connections are NOT acceptable.

  • Download speed of 15Mbps (megabyte per second)

  • Upload speed of 5Mbps (megabyte per second)

  • Ping Rate Maximum of 30ms (milliseconds)

  • Hardwired to the router

  • Surge protector with Network Line Protection for CAH issued equipment

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,850
