Company Overview: Our manufacturing client in the Trevose, PA area is seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance team. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers while maintaining a commitment to operational excellence and financial stability.

Job Description: As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within our manufacturing business. Your responsibilities will include forecasting and modeling, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing general financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and Modeling: Develop and maintain financial forecasts and models to support business planning and decision-making. Analyze historical data, market trends, and business drivers to produce accurate and insightful forecasts.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor and analyze KPIs to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.

  • General Financial Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes. Evaluate financial performance, profitability, and operational efficiency, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Systems Skills: Utilize strong systems skills, including SQL and Tableau, to extract and manipulate data from various sources. Design and develop reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making and enhance visibility into key business metrics.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and finance, to gather data, understand business drivers, and support strategic initiatives. Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of financial reporting and analysis. Implement best practices and leverage technology to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

    Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst role within the manufacturing industry.

  • Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired

  • Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferred)

  • Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft SQL

  • Practical knowledge of analysis

  • Tableau experience preferred

  • General familiarity with Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

  • Well-founded grasp of account analysis

  • Tableau Desktop experience

  • Solid understanding of budget forecasting

  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

  • KPI Reporting experience
