Robert Half Operations Controller in Trevose, Pennsylvania

Description We are in search of an Operations Controller to join our team located in Trevose, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be utilizing your solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, make recommendations, support FP& A through data-driven analysis, and foster an environment of continuous improvement. This position will directly contribute to our business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize financial knowledge and business acumen to build and refine multi-period financial models

• Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations including bridges and drivers for management

• Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual, and longer-term results/plans for business leaders, investors, board meetings, and similar functions

• Support FP& A through data-driven analysis and recommendations to enable business growth and profitability

• Create analyses and support for monthly reporting and/or quarterly business review presentations

• Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed

• Foster an environment of continuous improvement and manage competing priorities

• Collaborate cross-functionally using effective communication skills

• Demonstrate strong financial modeling / data mining skills across multiple platforms (Excel, SAP, Power BI, etc.)

• Exhibit leadership potential for successive advancement Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of operations control

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in Auditing and Budget Processes

• Ability to perform Financial Modeling

• Understanding and experience in Budgeting - Forecasting and Financial Forecast

• Experience in Budgeting, Month End Close, Quarter-end, and Year End Closings

• Skills in Account Analysis and Data Analysis

• Familiarity with Ad Hoc Reporting and Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI software

• Understanding of GAAP Accounting principles

• Experience in the Manufacturing Industry

• Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus

• Ability to work in a team and lead when necessary

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
