Pay rate: $17.00/hr.

Position Summary:

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by operating forklifts to move and manage materials. Your role will involve a 2-2-3 schedule, providing you with a balanced work routine and ample time off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.

• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Follow safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Accurately record and track inventory using handheld devices or computer systems.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid forklift certification (required).

• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [weight] lbs).

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Schedule:

• 2-2-3 Rotation: Work 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on, followed by 2 days off, and then repeat. This schedule provides a consistent pattern with ample rest and personal time.
